Back in their early twenties Karina and Cam bought Rocky Mountain Soap Company with only one employee, $86k in annual sales and 450 sq. ft. With mostly blind optimism fueling the first few years, the two have grown the company to what it is today. Throughout its growth, Rocky Mountain Soap continues to be, handmade, with 100% natural, simple, ingredients.

Bubby’s Bubbles is all-natural laundry products made with pure botanical ingredients, an obsession on quality and, above all else; sharing natural wisdom and love for the planet. Founded during Covid-19 when creator Nancy moved to the lake and relied on it solely for her water source, she saw a need for laundry products that were truly naturally derived and protected the delicate balance of the environment. Inspired by classic bar soap formulas sourced from plant-based materials such as sunflower oil and lavender, Nancy discovered that sometimes you have to look back 100 years in order to conserve and nurture the next 100 years. Our hand-made, all-natural laundry detergent is made with pure botanical ingredients following a recipe inspired by our grandmother’s (Bubby’s) generation.
We use Bubby’s products in our laundry room, and cleaning supplies around the hotel.
The inception of our family-run operation is unconventional to say the least. In July 2016, we launched our small roastery with one cafe client, a handful of retail customers, and a 17-year-old head roaster. At the time the team’s past business experience spanned many industries, except the coffee industry. Oh, and we were coming out of the gate with a mantra of light roasted coffee and “Single Origin, Single Speed” in the dark roast dominated town of Fernie, BC.

We live in the society that is consistently taking natural resources out from our planet. While our energy consumption appetite continues growing, the natural processes cannot keep up with balancing out our environmental impact. The founders of Dandelion Renewables were always concerned with the design flaws of our consumption-based society. Creation of Dandelion Renewables was the logical step for our beliefs and our skills to merge. The tremendous impact of our work inspires us to discover better energy choices that let us live sustainably in harmony with nature.
